Adding the first Content Slide

After you have added an Update click the update name, if that update has no content you will see the add content page.
The first thing to do to upload a file is click the “Browse” button and locate the file you want to upload.

Designlink handles many different types of files.
Read about File Types and Plugins

You can then write a caption which will appear below the content, this is optional.

Finally if you want a copyright notice added automatically enter the copyright notice in the field at the bottom. Note that a copyright notice can only be added to raster images (jpeg, png, gif)

Click “Save” and the file will be added to the update as the first content slide. Note that the time it takes to upload the file will depend on your connection speed and the size of the file.

When a raster image is uploaded (jpeg, gif, png) it is automatically resized if it is bigger than the standard display size, the larger image can be viewed by clicking the “Zoom” button above the image or clicking the image, this pops up a window showing the original hi resolution image.

Adding additional Content Slides

Once you have added the first content slide you can use the green “Add Content” button above the existing content to add another content slide follwing the same procedure for adding the first content slide.
Additional slides are added after the current slide (The current slides number is red), you can then re-order the slides using the “Re-Order” buttons, to jump the current slide up or down the view order.

Editing and Deleteing

Content can be edited and deleted using the orange and red buttons above the slide.
