Overview

Desiglink is charged on a MB storage basis. This makes it easy to understand the pricing aswell as allowing you to easily estimate projected usage. The pricing does not reflect the cost of storing that data but rather the overall value of using that amount of data within Designlink. What this means is that you can have as many users, companies and groups as you like accessing the data without paying any extra, or purchasing extra licenses. The price also covers the archiving feature so you can back up the data before deleting it, and usage of realtime features such as Imagelink and the Webcam. Once you remove a Project you stop paying for it, you can however continue to store the User, Company and Group information and will not be charged for it so that setting up new Projects with the same People and Companies is quick and easy.

Pricing is allocated in Chunks on a per Project Basis and is calculated on a Daily Basis.

Pricing Plans (Prices are per month)

  • 10×10 Plan: $10 per 10MB Chunk or part thereof.
  • 15×25 Plan: $15 per 25MB Chunk or part thereof.
  • 25×50 Plan: $25 per 50MB Chunk or part thereof.
    All Prices are in NZ Dollars and do not include tax

How Pricing is Calculated

As soon as a Project is created you will begin to be charged for Using 1 Chunk of data for that Project, once the amount of storage for that project exceeds your nominated Chunk size you will then be charged for 2 Chunks of data and so on.

For example if you were on a 10×10 Plan and you start a Project and upload some images into an update which uses 5MB of storage space and left it there for 1 month you will be charged $10, if in the second month you uploaded another 4MB (Making 9MB used) at the end of the second month you would be charged another $10.

To be as fair as possible the charges are calculated daily so that using the example above if you left the 9MB there until halfway through the Third month then archived it and deleted the Project you would only be charged $5 for that month as you were using 1 Chunk of data @ $10 per month for half a month.
